REMEMBER THIS DATE: Thursday, September 24th!!! It’s the 2015 Bethel BBQ, Bake Sale, & Silent Auction. Mark your calendars to volunteer, eat a great meal, buy silent auction items, donate items, and enjoy making a lasting impact on your local community. Community members are invited to drive through, eat in, or carry out barbecue dishes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the church, 1920 Bethel Church Road, Cornelius, NC. Bidding on silent auction items will end at 7: 00 p.m. Silent auction items include artwork, gift baskets, gift cards, golf packages, jewelry, vacation homes and Carolina Panthers tickets. WANT TO GO? The BBQ begins at 11 a.m. Thursday and runs through 7 p.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 19920 Bethel Church Road. Diners can drive through, eat in or carry out their food.
$9.00 - BBQ Plate including beans and slaw
$9.00 - Three sandwiches including slaw
$12.00 - One pound of BBQ
Delivery is available to the Lake Norman Area for orders of 10 plates or more.
Once again, we are proud to be support Barium Springs Home for Children with 100% of the proceeds from this event. In past years, funds from the BBQ, Bake Sale, and Silent Auction have gone toward replacing appliances and furniture at Barium Springs. Join us on September 24th and let's do something extraordinary.
We need you! We really do, because the BBQ is only successful when people take part planning, preparing, and serving. Bethel is a mission minded church, focused on serving each other and serving all of God’s people and the BBQ is a great way for you to live out the mission by volunteering your time. Not only will you be the hands and feet of the BBQ, but you’ll be the hands and feet of Christ to the children of Barium Springs. Thursday ALL DAY, Sept 25 – Attending to the dining room, kitchen help, take-out prep, drive-thru, BBQ reheating, delivery, and evening cleanup
You can sign up to volunteer at the big bulletin board in the Family Life Center or when you purchase tickets.
